Lan-Share provides a temporary browser-based file transfer tool for one-to-one sharing between devices. By using Lan-Share, you are responsible for the files you choose to send, the device you pair with, and whether you have the right to share that content.
Do not use Lan-Share to transfer unlawful, harmful, infringing, abusive, or malicious material. Do not attempt to overload, scan, exploit, interfere with, or bypass the security controls of the service. Connection codes are intended only for the person you choose to pair with and should not be posted publicly.
Lan-Share is provided as a practical transfer utility, not as backup storage, archival storage, or guaranteed delivery infrastructure. Keep your own copy of any important file until you confirm the receiver has downloaded it successfully.
The service depends on browser support, network conditions, firewall behavior, and WebRTC connectivity. Some transfers may fail or require trying again on a different network. We may update, suspend, rate limit, or disable parts of the service to maintain reliability and security.
